If I'd have joined back when the overall attitude was more 'toxic' I'd probably never have stayed given I went into it expecting that to be true based on what I was told, but saw nothing of the sort.

didnt donating also give you like a 5 LP headstart on a character, meaning you'd get the black armband instantly?
cus i think i remember someone getting that on his newly created character after getting premium, accidentally running for like 2-3 metres in front of a CP, and get PK'd for it and ranting in OOC chat.
