Forums wont give me editing tools

When I go to edit posts I have made I get no option to bold or text size or anything like that. It makes any application I make look like shit. Any way to fix this?

No such thing there for me. I manually had to go through my CP app and use [.B] and [./B] to bold every question. Any other ideas on how to get that prompt to appear?

In preferences -> preferences, Is "Use the rich text editor to create and edit messages" checked?
