from what I said in the meeting, I feel like it's talking to a brick wall. Nothing can be done about the community's attitude around certain situations. I don't even know why I made the effort to try and point out what I thought was wrong about the head staff.

@Slim I've had to take days out of my own productive time to deal with the inevitable shitstorm that approached when dealing with doubled's demotion. I didn't want to, but it was necessary to avoid the forums being absolutely filled with posts perpetuating more drama because a few people are too impatient to wait for the roster post, or just general misinformation being spread making the situation worse

But ultimately, was deleting a meme instead of letting it pass worth the hour and a half of drama though? I don't think it was and it drags a hell of a lot of people into it that otherwise shouldn't be pulled in due to snap/hardline decisions.

@einulous If powley wasn't banned for being "baited" then he would have been banned for continuing the drama that had subsided for like 10 pages. I warned him about the situation and then decided to personally call me out anyway

@einulous I mean yeah we would, we've even tried reaching out to some people to address some concerns people had but sometimes we were refused with little reason other than a "nah I don't want to talk to you"

Drama wasn't started by us, it was continued by powley bringing up the situation yet again while it was still relatively hot. This was already explained above

But again - it could have been ignored and brushed under the rug and forgotten. That would have been it. Not like you had an army throwing up statuses and stuff again. There are better ways to start drama again if that was the cause but ultimately people are aware of why the demotion happened and there isn't much fuel anymore.
