I understand the views on humor and such @L'Atlas but I also understand the fact sometimes that "humor" feels like a straight up jab to the face instead of just a joke, in the ways the humor is presented.

There's no way to win this fight, just talking and reaching middlegrounds will help. For now, I'd say everyone has to stop fueling this until everything can be discussed coldly.

At the end of the day, from my own personal point of view, I've seen Pow and Dal do nothing but attempt to help the server, sure alex does shit from a dev perspective and quill handles the staff team, but the overall quality of roleplay on neb continues to decline simply because everyone's so fucking tight about allowing anyone to do anything that isn't currently sucking their figurative dick.

no middlegrounds will be made though. No one will ever be pleased. I don't see the 'players vs head staff' conflict ending anytime soon

I don't understand why it got to this point until you decided to come forth and actually say why you're hostile towards us. It was just weeks of passive-aggressive jabs and undermining all the work that the HL2RP staff have done to help launch the server when helix dropped.

The people that do attempt to make changes, and believe me, Pow and Dal did make a LOT of changes, get next to no fucking thanks from actual senior staff and I believe due to a general lack of achievement when they do shit that literally half the staff team is (and quite ludicrously so) incapable of doing they get mad as I would also, and as I personally have.

All I'm saying is I'd rather somebody call me a twat straight up than behind my back, and I'm sure you're all the same on that one.

I decide to throw back a couple times since alex's/bq's own attempts at communicating weren't working, and here we are finally, with the real reason.

The reason this server is seeing such a mass exodus of old heads is cause we feel like now with new management our pleas for change etcetera generally fall on deaf ears, hence alplands and what's coming up.

Like without Dallas helping from a "talking to staff" side of shit, the whole interesting plotline I had going with DJ would never have happened. In fact, with Pow on my side when I and he made Voluntas, there would've never been a United Front, it's simple shit like that IC that they've helped jumpstart that's lead to most of the interesting RP I've ever had on the server, and I know they do it for so many others.

I'd rather tell him directly rather than pass things back and forward, but I'd like to say I feel the 'unapprecative' angle, isn't represenative of myself. I don't want to go into it here though, I'm not looking to have an argument anymore

Alex and I don't manage the HL2RP server or its staff - but we do step in when there are problems or major changes that need to be done (i.e switching frameworks). I know for a fact that bq manages the server well and makes sure everyone knows that their contributions are abundantly appreciated, whether it be through forum posts or through steam directly.

I had to "fuel the fire" because you were completely unresponsive. You/your boys were still shitting on the server along with everyone's work every single chance you got and we got sick of it. The 2 (TWO) meme posts that I made were in the same vein as yours - you were fueling the fire as much as I was.

@`impulse This is just plain old Roman here, don't you think that you and alex not being involved in the server itself, yet designing the entire framework for said server might be the main cause of many people's gameplay issues and complaints? Maybe it's important for the guys making the game to you know, playtest the game?

Also from my own perspective as someone who up until recently played the server semi-frequently, Powley did nothing but try and keep citizen roleplay alive, the only working segment of the server right now is the Union side of shit, and even that's a veritable mess.

helix was playtested by staff for about 1 year. however most people say that it's not enough time to fully balance and improve it. idk

Most of the systems added were ones the playerbase specifically wanted added in one form or another, tbf. But, as with everything on Neb, when they got their hands on them the reality set in and not all of them fit (or people didn't know how to handle them).
