Completed 911 Calling Indefinitely (Or no one to pick up?)

After an incident I attempted to call 911, called indefinitely and unsure if it was the correct way to get in touch (or there was no dispatchers online?)

Lack of anything really made it unclear if it was the correct way to contact or not, and I'm still unsure if that is how to get in touch

I also attempted to call 999, which showed in the call history as being redirected to 911, re-affirming the idea that the call was successful but just never picked up
