Finished Seven Deadly Sins, got a list of 12-episode shows I'll be watching next, which one should I start with?:

Left to right opinions

- Entertaining but cliché harem, still some laughs
- Incredibly wholesome and nice show
- Softcore lolicon, dropped it midway
- A good comedy, but it's a romance, cheesy but actually nice for a change, bit cringey at times but the funny kind
- Lots of love put in the show but it's really just a cgdct and nothing else past that

Basically start with the ones with bad reviews so you can drop them fast if you dislike them, and get on with the actually good ones. It's what I usually do with seasonal anime.

At first it is but then it becomes... Odd. Can't like it myself. Maybe you find the appeal in it.

it seems actually pretty enjoyable
i love historical settings in anime
and the characters seem likeable, if you can look past the main character being an italian with blonde hair and blue eyes

now i'm gonna check out Listeners
i heard that someone in it mentions shoegaze

For anyone watching digimon adventure 01 back in their childhood days

Especially for me, now this is a healthy dose of childhood nostagia resurfacing again :grinning:

First episode is really good so far, hopefully more promising that Digimon Tri.

God I never really watch anime but i definitely have to recommend Beastars, call it furry bait or whatever but its genuinely in my top favourite shows right now

just be warned there are some uncomfortable scenes

I'm far enough into this isolation scene where I'm going for a rewatch of psycho pass, and I'm here to plug the show because I think it's great

Future society where most critical social institutions are now facilitated by a supposedly infallible computer called the Sybil system. The mental wellbeing of every citizen is constantly appraised by the system; if a citizen is above a certain threshold on the system's scale, they're arrested and given treatment or execution. Some of those with above that threshold are strongarmed into becoming instruments of the state, to carry out arrests and executions in the place of actual police officers for the protection of their mental health. The society is a dystopic freakshow, but as long as the system can keep fostering the public's tranquil, thoughtless state of being the status quo continues.

My favorite anime by a country mile. There are a few little flaws (I don't love all of the character design) but the character developments and relationships, the world that's developed, and the incredible antagonist are so so good. First season is top tier.

I think I know the one you mean
Some of the scenes in it are thoroughly fucked up. The pilot establishes how fucked things can get with the first criminal they're after, but that bit when the dude in the helmet is killing the woman in public, and no one knows how to process what's happening in front of them is a different sort of disturbing. There's even people filming iirc
