oh boy is it time for "<x>" and "<x> wasn't REALLY communist!"?

Nope. The USSR was communistic in nature, although they only ever reached the stage named "The Dictatorship of the Proletariat" described by Lenin and Stalin. Anyone who tells you otherwise is probably a left-com.

As if Trump wouldn't try to pull that stunt either?

But lets be real here, if one of the houses of Congress stays red, Hillary wouldn't even be able to maintain a no fly zone for more than 60 days even if she tried to implement a no fly zone.

Why hillary though? She's more like a right wing candidate with her policies.

Jesus Christ where do I even start?

Maybe her temperament? She's not going on twitter meltdowns every other night. Maybe it's the fact she has solid plans for moving forward and Trump can't keep his story straight for more than 15 minutes. She hasn't pledged to overturn Obergefell v. Hodges or Roe v. Wade. Higher education reform, healthcare reform, proper immigration reform. I could go on and on.

I wanted Bernie, but I have to settle for Hillary and at least she's incorporated some of Bernie's major issues into the party platform.

You call her more of a right wing candidate, but she's more of a centrist (at least in American politics) and at least she's not pandering to the far right Christian fundies we have to deal with.

Gotta love that "lesser of two evils" arguement.

It's the best we have to work with. Third party candidates in the US election system are nothing more than spoilers, as our system of government naturally gravitates to two parties. Ralph Nader is the reason we got stuck with Bush Jr. and he was an absolute disaster. I boner at the dream of having Al Gore, but that's something that will never come to fruition.

If your system of government naturally gravitates towards a two-party system, don't encourage it. Attempt to change it, and not through some petty petition crap.

Forgetting the fact our "major" third party candidates are awful (I'm looking at you, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein), just what are you advocating? If not "petition crap" aka the democratic process then what? The biggest voting demographic doesn't bother to vote, the majority of the rest of the voting populace identifies with at least one of the two major parties and the rest settle with lesser of two evils after they don't get what they want in the primaries.

I think you already know what I am advocating. And you aren't quite grasping that the "democratic process" isn't very democratic at all, with the Electoral College holding most power in the event. Super Pacs can essentially buy a candidate their way into the White House for god sake.
