I am not even Israeli, I am not in Israel because I want to live there, the reason I am here is personal.

But, banter aside, Israel is truly poetic justice and incredible that the nation has been reborn. It brings a tear to my eye to see something so close to my religion being brought back from the dead like Jesus himself, to bear fruitful land to live as a people, something that hadn't been done for ages. They've always had to sit back seat to other cultures and religions ruling over them. But with that understood, they remain a secular state with more human rights than the majority of the Middle East. I think that's beautiful, like an oasis in the middle of a desert.
