ARMA 3: Semi-Serious Scenarios

INTRODUCTION
So, me and a bunch of friends have been playing quite a bit of ARMA 3 recently and I've decided to begin hosting some semi-serious scenarios for us to play. It's honestly been a lot of fun but we've been really lacking the amount of people needed to have the proper ARMA 3 scenario experience. So I've decided to make a discord server for those who would like to join us and play some scenarios with us.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Able minded people who own both ARMA and Discord to be able to take part within this scenario, a list of mods required and such will be contained and listed within our discord server that we will be using for this situation. Along with having the game and mods we are also looking for people who take a somewhat serious approach to the scenarios and hand and would be valuable assets to the current campaign we are running.

AVAILABLE ROLES
The roles that we are currently looking to fill within our current campaign are nearly essential to being able to complete missions with the utmost ease, before anyone is enter any of these roles myself or someone else will first evaluate your performance within previous scenarios and your overall progress. The current list of roles available are as follows:
  • Medevac operatives
  • Reconnaissance operatives
  • Talented pilots
  • Able infantrymen
  • Squad leaders
  • Civilian event characters
HOW TO JOIN
Start off by joining our discord, after that you will be enquired by one of us by talking to you and gathering an idea of what kind of person you are in our eyes before being assigned a rank as such (We will be using generic NATO ranking).

SIDE NOTE
Please do not expect the server to up 24/7, the scenarios are often run as sort of events. This means that if you want to take part in a scenario make sure to be active in the discord and be around for when we decide to host one.

As far as I am aware we will most likely incorporate the group with other game modes such as KOTH and any others the group feels like playing.

The Adriatic is in a state of turmoil. After the fracture of international relations in the Adriatic, various organisations attempted to seize power. One of which was the MLF, a group of lightly equipped nationalists hopping to push over the municipal government of Malden, propped up by Iranian and Syrian benefactors. Militas have been assembled and technical mounted, the fate of Malden lies bare.

This operation will be solely aimed on claiming island in the name of the Malden Liberation Front, throughout this operation we will be hosting scenarios which directly impact on the the outcome of this operation. Within this operation we will be using a range of mods to enhance game play, realism and player enjoyment. The only thing we ask of for players is to keep an somewhat serious attitude and to have fun, if you with to take part within this operation join our discord. The British Colonial island known commonly as 'Lingor Island' has been overrun and besieged by a multitude of hostile forces who have occupied all forms of settlements in the hope to hold out UK forces. We will be inserted as a task force of British troops in the hope to achieve the reclamation of it, throughout this operation we will be running somewhat low on supplies which will cause us to need to scavenge and hunt for supplies. Once a foothold is created by ourselves within the island we will be able to start forming additional FOBs along with manufacturing places for supplies such as fuel and ammunition.

The functionality of this operation will be quite similar to anti-stasi, it will contain aspects of loot gathering, base building and recruiting of AI. It also contains realtime learning AI which will react to your actions accordingly, for example if you attack a town with an armoured vehicle the nearby towns will stock up on AT capabilities and such. Civilians will play a huge role within this as you want to keep your relationship with them as a positive one, when friendly civilians are able to be recruited and assigned to roles but on contrast if you are in bad terms with them they will tend to attack you in towns with such things as rocks or even molotovs.
