-Kinda cool
-Very efficient
-Bit less expensive than electricity
-Kinda hard to install/maintain

Cons:
-Can't make steam yourself
-If a pipe bursts you get 100 degree water everywhere

Gas
Pros:
-Gas sucks

Cons:
-You fucking die

Wood
Pros:
-Relatively cheap
-Easy to set up if you have chimeny
-Efficient
-Not reliant on any outside sources to produce heat
-Heats your house up to 5000 Kelvin
-Fire

Cons:
-It fucking stinks
-My head hurts from blowing into this goddamn stove
-Have to get up and shove shit in it constnatly

I know I use it and you can regulate intake with a thermostat
only downside is that these have to be maintained otherwise they'll lose out on efficiency
and yes that does sound similar to steam but I assure you it is not

Yeah its a smart system, p much hooked to the same system as a warm water generator for taps, but circulated in your house to provide efficient heating while you dont actively use your warm water

i just helped my dad install a water heating system in the garage.

my understanding is that you have a water heater/pump that cycles water through these tubes that you set in cement and rebar when you lay the floor. the water heats the floor and the heat rises and keeps the inside of the garage warm. i presume this can also be done in walls.

steams transferred through a series of radiators and pipes through the building/area, so steam/water IS the main source of the heating, but its just created or heated by something else

not the same thing since you can use electricity/wood or whatever to directly produce heat (electric panel/radiator/ac, stove, etc), but you use it to heat the water and steam
