What do you like reading? Who’s your favourite author? Any books you hate? Any books that have even inspired you?

For me, ( hi @MaelRadecs ), it’s the Foundation series by Asimov. I’m about halfway through the entire saga of about 6/7 books. I don’t hate any books really, but I have a comfort zone, consisting mainly of John Grisham, Frank Herbert and Asimov. Asimov, in fact, inspired some roleplay which was fun.

Foundation is boring at times, though. The novels don’t have any violence (except the prelude which was his final work). It’s just people talking a lot, which Asimov even said himself.

I’ve also been meaning to pick up 1984

I’ve been meaning to buy it but I think you’re right.
In general I don’t think it has a bad rep, but its history and what people used 1984 in HL2RP specifically has soured the mood of it. But this is a valuable opinion, thank you JB

Currently reading an Andy Weir novel called Artemis. It's basically a girl from Neb HL2RP in a space engineer job on the moon.

i haven't read a book in so long i think my attention span and brain in general has been fried by the internet.

i think the last thing i sat down and read outside of an english classroom was 1984 lol

a good series i read and never finished was GONE, bunch of teenagers with superpowers trapped in an American holiday town and the series follows a bunch of different characters and how the society worked/what they all went through and shit. before that i read the maze runner series, but thats a bit like diary of a wimpy kid in the sence everyones fucking read that book or seen the movie. the whole series of books is pretty good.

i was thinking of trying to read the horus herecy series or just listen to the audiobook, might give brutal kunnin a read as well. but again, zoomer brain no work probably
