Don't do the mistake and try to squeeze city and outlands into one map as well
That does not help at all. The C8 did that, too. You end up with two half maps instead of one complete map where both parts are too small due to the other needing space, too. Concentrate on one setting, not on all.You will be teleported to the outlands via a func_teleport

It didn't work, that's why we switched back. Garry's Mod is limited enough with their maps, and having one be split into two parts is going to make each feel unsatisfying. A city server should have a city map focused on city, an Outlands server should have an Outlands map focused on Outlands. As I said, it's going to feel like two half maps. Outlands is about being far and wide, isolating. You can't have that if you squeeze wildlife, OTA and rebelRP into an area the size of half a map. Ineu Valley was barely enough.C8 worked when it had implemented that, I aim to implement this too, because I want to give plenty of RP room and opportunities for all factions in an equal part. You can always cut the outlands off from the majority if you don't want your server to be split, but in case a bigger community wants to use this map, they will make excellent use of the outlands set...plus, it's mainly an area for Overwatch/Rebel/Antlion/Zombies.

City, too, will feel lackluster with only a few streets and some back alleys - lacking diversity and quiet spots to roleplay in peace apart from apartments.
