Lots of memes this week, going to just ignore them
@Rondal, look up there, see the empty, purely black and unused space that adds nothing to the scene? Yeah, it has no use, thus shouldn't exist. Also, on right you can see some ugly wall that doesn't fit in my opinion. When you get your camera settled, try to avoid spots like that and not show the ground, but rather aim from slightly below the main character's chest. Oh, and yeah, there's no main character, nothing to focus on, which usually turns out to just look bad. Another thing, is that you've used a very strong and purely white light, which always looks bad, completly not fitting the scene. A climatic light here would be red, maybe even mixed with orange light, both being way more subtle. I like how zombies come out of darkness, but there aren't many of them honestly. Another problem is that your posing is completly stiff and unnatural. That OTA is literally holding his rifle with straight arms.
I'd honestly watch how others do it, either on movie posters, or here, in their own threads. Look it up man, try to learn from the better.
@Prospekt, I see you made a literal copy of what I was saying about your previous pose, eh? It's pretty good and I like it, it's just the fact that instead of doing something fresh with the knownledge you've learned, you decided to remake your previous submittion. Not really an original thing, but it's definitely something better than before and worthy a wallpaper if you fancy stuff like this
@RetroPirate1that's actually pretty cool![]()
@Wolfaye, I'm really sure I saw something like this before in LP, so I just won't judge it
Better watch yourself kiddo, if I find any solid evidence proving my suspicions, you'll end up rotting in a prison cell
@bjfgpkqkdmtnspwndsjt, even if I know you're doing it just for memes, it actually looks decent, especially the first one, just like a scene from some movie.![]()
@Elan, you were always the editing guy, but I like to see you actually try posing. The thing is, you've used only in-gmae animations, and frankly, there's little of the tensity being felt here, you could fix that by making everyone lean on the wall, maybe reloading, preparing to do something, that stuff. Also, forgetting about faceposing the male_07 was a bad idea, he's looking just like he'd be taking his everyday ration, rather than fight alongside his worst enemy, to counter off two unknown to him individuals. Looking forward to seeing what will be next honestly, so I can put that "Gmod posing" near your skills on the roster
@Hydralisk, a very filled up pose, I'll admit that, however, while it might sound like an absurd, there's not much going on, really. There's just a big number of choppers, advisior, and three resistance members there, noone else present, noone else to react. I'd zoom out and add way more rebels/refugees, that run in panic, try to attack the choppers, or hide, each of them individually doing something else, to show the chaos around there. Also, one or two guys near the camera with scared expressions on their faces could do the trick, if they'd be well posed and on one side of the screen, to not block off the main characters. Still, pretty neat concept, just lacks that polishing
@Maxim, a very nice scene, with lots of stuff going around, really good. The only problems I have with this, is that posing on few ragdolls is stiff (guy on far right and guy with ammobox) and that it's low resolution. Other than that, I could whine that there could be even more stuff around, but either way, it's a really nice pose,![]()
@Lyon, it's pretty empty, and that's my main problem with it. You could've lowered the camera to show the whole scene of joy and happyness, while that silent assasin there would be hidden in the background. Speaking of him, why does he have both hands behind him, both in a slight unnatural way? Not bad though, not bad

If you make "Hard" art,(art that's considered above your skill level) take a pic mid-way through development for proof.

Now that I've looked into Hall of Fame, round 50 is coming up. I guess we should do something special then, right?
So, I thought that for a change, I won't be the jury, but you will. And the guys that will submit their art will be media devs/former media devs (subhumans, keep your bums out of this, it's dev territory)
Voting will be done through a thread with a poll in it, pretty simple.
So, to tag all devs here, take a part if you want/have time, although it'd be really sad to miss stuff like this happening
Cool. Glad I won among the memes. (Would have appreciated a bit of feed back though :( )Lots of memes this week, going to just ignore them
