So today's raining and we got nothing to do so I decided to buy netflix and chill

Plugged hdmi to my laptop but not sure what to watch

Can anyone quickly suggest some movies?
Nothing that might be too gory or scary, something slow paced or maybe something interesting and smart like Fight Club or Blade Runner.

Probably not going to pay much attention to it so don't suggest something out of your heart.

Thanks in advance gamers

28 Days Later, said it before in a few other threads, it's a horror film but it's a mediocre one, more entertaining than gory.

28 Weeks Later is a lot less gory too.

28 days/weeks later is literally entry-level normie tier kino

Horror movies that are kino tier:
  • Alien (ofc)
  • The Thing
  • The Babadook
  • Under The Skin
  • Antichrist
>Normies will defend 28 days/weeks later
i don't remember how many of these are on netflix, but i don't doubt that you could find them via other means

Antichrist seems really cool and I'll watch it when I got time for myself but I'm with my girlfriend now and this kind of movies might be a little bit "heavy".
And yes, it's not necessary that they are on netflix but that would be better since I don't have to waste time with ads and finding the italian version etc

Lord of War

So something "lighter" but still with a dark undertone with the possibility of Italian subtitles or speech?

That would be great, yes. If you got anything similar to that you can feel free to PM me, I'll watch them by myself because I like that genre, however right now I'm in need of something lighter, yes.

Try Black Mirror then. it's a series consisting of "standalone" episodes which are different stories based around the darker sides of technology and human existence

Basically, each episode is its own movie, if you want to treat it as such, but a little shorter

Should be on Netflix with Italian subtitles

That is, if you haven't seen it yet ofc

i guess try dark city??

This. Dark City, +Support.

Dark City is a psychological thriller that just hits home in so many aspects. It is savagely captivating with ambiance and plot a like.

It is no wonder why it heavily influenced the Mage: The Awakening. As it is the exemplar of the bittersweet truth that to have knowledge, is to be driven mad by it (and yet, ignorance isn't bliss; ignorance is insanity parallel to reality).

The premise, the ambience, and the execution may just leave you questioning the insanities (the perpendicular and parallels alike) in your own life.
