I'm wondering why the spartans should be the "good guys" while the athenians are evil and oppressive. I mean Sparta was a totalitarian dictatorship with an entire chaste of slaves and baby-killing eugenetic principles while Athens was a partial democracy, but again, it's just the usual Assassin creed stuff with barely any sembrance of historical accuracy at all.

It's literally just because Spartans are badass warriors, that's it

(And I think it's kinda cool tbh but still not sure why it's so hard for game devs to make you play the bad guy)

I wish AAA games made me actually be Evil instead of being slightly evil, only few games have done that. Like make me kill billions and point to it, don’t just slightly mention it and make your character feel bad

Well in games like "Megaton: Rainfall" you can theoretically blow up the Earth but the game literally ends and restarts everytime you kill a certain amount of humans because "YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE EVIL :CCCCCCCCCCCC"
