This is my first real attempt at a poster made in Source Filmmaker. Here it is.(Its a little dark due to a problem, because on my computer the file is perfectly lit)

Well the posing looks good, can't comment on the lighting, you already said it was messed up.

In this 2nd image though, what is that on his face? Is it like a tear, or is it like some melted butter? Or is it like semen? Like I just don't know...

Its supposed to be smoke, trying to fix up on the lighting.

I'll assume you're using SFM.

Make sure you right click the viewport and click Render Settings, make sure Depth of field's number is turned to max.

That removes the graininess from your art.

Also, make sure to take a look at the lighting guide on the important thread's page, and the SFM starting guide.

That should help you out.

It's already at the max, idk why it still has the black graininess.
