Man I've been playing none stop just got done with a voyage to the coalsack nebula and got a few million credits which I didn't expect

I'm just a small time trader so far, not great at combat with anything more than one, low level ship, and I just sorta wonder around and do trade missions randomly

Watch a video on bounty missions thats most likely your fastest money possible at early stages. Get a good ship and just shoot at a ship and let the system defense kill it bam 150k credits
