Engine Error: Steam Error: No SteamUser

Alright,

wanted to start up Gmod and leave for a couple minutes, when I got back I noticed GMod is not in fullscreen, I clicked on the icon and then this window appeared;

I have no clue what or when this problem happened, tried removing the ClientRegistry.blob, but wasn't there, tried to verify my game cache, Steam is running and up to date.
