what drives a man to commit hate crimes over the footy anyways.
In the UK, it's ingrained into society and culture to the point where it can directly affect elements outside of football such as politics, alcohol sales and even domestic violence.

It's a vicious cycle of the older generations hyping all aspects up to their maximum, whether it be if England winning or losing; the reaction is always exaggerated tenfold by the older fans which reflects onto the impressionable younger fans.

I know that 99,9% of all the brits are good people. Why do these idiots have to ruin it for everyone.
unfortunately, in this case, it's not true

English football fans (yes, I'm saying english, not british), are notorious for this sort of behaviour, hence them having been banned from international competitions in the past and so on. It's not the tiny 0.1% of english fans that behaves like a bunch of drunk retards

this behaviour even extends outside of football, english tourists are known cancers to every southern european country for starting street fights with hundreds of people over someone spilling alcohol - places like portugal, spain (I think italy as well, but not sure), have special insurances for these times, the english summer tourist time

his life is over

i expect a news report to surface of him hanging in a streetlight by tomorrow by the state of some of the fucking english fans

going to twitter and seeing the amount of crap just spouted out towards the black players and black people in general
theres a video circulating of a black guy getting beat up by some english people, its painted as the english reaction to them losing, but theres no context or anything solid on it. looking at twitter, i dont doubt it too much tbh. definitely expect racial abuse to happen next couple days

Honestly even in this tournament there've been absolutely shite fans on all fronts booing anthems and doing shitty stuff but the only one that actually makes the news is, as per, England. I'm not saying you aren't right but the reverse just generally gets swept under the rug.

Thing is with Saka, minus the penalty you cannot fault him

against Denmark he was incredibly good on the wing, opening up the opportunity for our non-penalty goal and kept a high amount of pressure

but yeah, incredibly shitty to force him to take that penalty, players typically volunteer to take them so that means the other players wanted him to go ahead of them

Also, more than UEFA doing something about the violence...

People who get recorded doing circles beating people on the ground, if Boris isn't a bitch and the Justice system works, they should get charged with aggravated assault and in some cases attempted murder, kicking someone on the head, on the ground, over and over, as a group is actual attempted murder - but the government won't do shit, because no government anywhere in europe has had the balls to do anything about this shit since Thatcher
