Melancholy, a sculpture created by Albert Gyorgy, portrays the void that grief leaves us with. This hole represents the massive void that we all feel when we lose someone dear to us, and many people have expressed their appreciation for this sculpture for it portraying the exact emotions they feel, but perhaps haven’t been able to quite put into words.
yeah the holocaust is a good aesthetic

This is a statue thread, please I don't want to talk about political ideologies and I will avoid them at all costs.
this is contradictory, and it doesn't have to limit itself to ideology aswell.
The spirit behind a statue lies with its accomplishment, admonishment or warning. It can take many meanings and to limit to looks alone would make fairly little sense unless you look at abstract modern statues which usually have little decipharable meaning.

But I digress.

Here is the Schuttblume (Debris flower) in the Olympic park, Munich, set atop of the artificial hill.
It is tributed to the civil casualities caused by air-warfare during WW2 via bombings, henceforth its name.

I agree.
I just don't want to talk about my political ideology
