the point is that ota have a blatant advantage over everyone else so if the server sticks with s2k, something thats already gamey as fuck and doesnt take roleplay into account, allowing ota who arent developed characters to go on the offensive and s2k rebels is not a fun idea

if its in events or s2rp or some shit like that sure idc but not if its just a bunch of union players that flag off their characters with personalities and development and hop into disc with the boys to go own some rebels with no consequences

idk where subeh is coming from saying he wants them to attack when he doesnt s2k himself you want more s2k to happen but you dont like s2k?

an advantage that's been considerably lowered given their gear is now on par with ours + they're only limited to smaller numbers in comparison to the unlimited numbers we're capable of having

allowing ota who arent developed characters

they're no more developed than the conscripts who got made specifically for this event lol, not to mention the reforms ota've pushed have actually turned them into far more of individual characters rather than just absolute death machines - something i've seen evidence of just by glancing at console over the last few days, i don't even NEED to be on the union side to see evidence of it

the way neb does s2k is fucking pitiful; i hate it, yes, beyond all belief. but if you caught what i said on the feedback thread, you'd see that i'm happy with the fact they're even present as a close-to-home defensive force; what pissed me off was that they were cancelled out entirely, which left our primary enemies as conscripts/cops (predominantly the former) and that ruined the vibe of the entire thing for me

point being; i wouldn't even care if they weren't a major player in the s2k that takes place, i just want them to be there so the server can feel more close to the setting its meant to be bloody portraying for once

ya'll need to can this whole attitude of ota being nothing but an s2k faction because it's actually just a fuckin insult. i'm on both sides of the fence here; i lead resistance shit and im part of ota and i can personally see how many strides they're taking to adjust themselves to suit us, not to mention the sacrifices and consideration that's going into it too

the entire time you lot are shitbagging them they're sitting there trying to adjust themselves to your benefit and at this point i dont think any of you even deserve it
