So yesterday one of my good friends randomly just showed up to my house out of the blue. No idea what he wanted or anything. But he just handed me two new magazines for my 74 and was like “Hey I heard you talking about getting new mags, so here you go man.”

I have the best fucking friends, and he’s a fucking AR guy as well. Only thing is trying to insert the mags is like trying to fuck a virgin catholic nun.

I'm probably gonna get the new 1.5 Zastava, tbh

Originally it was gonna be PSA til I did some more reading, then a WASR for 750, and now the Yugo AK for about 786, with a discount

Is that a SAR-2?

god i wish imports didn't get fucked

It’s a WASR-2, yeah.

WASRs are the absolute best you can get besides the original Kalshnikov Concern factory made. Got mine for only $600. While every other 5.45 rifle on the market now can go up to about 4 large. I’d suggest getting a WASR if you can though. Best bang for the buck, literally.

At 750? I'm iffy about a 10. The Zastava isn't even 50 dollars more with the discount, and it just seems like more gun, in general.

The Zastava isn’t bad at all either, as long as it isn’t Century Arms. You shouldn’t really have to worry about anything.

oh, naw, this is zastava-usa import, not century

its got the bulged trunnions, 1.5 reciever, all that - that's why i said its more gun, to me
proprietary furniture would be a problem for some but i intend to make my own so its not a problem

Martini-Henry Mk.4 I found in a local pawn shop of mine. You can also see a original Remington Rolling Block in original .58 Berdan. But the Martini was its original .577 WITH matching sword bayonet which is very rare to find.

wish I had bought it for at least a wall hanger while I could

i do not have a very vested interest in weapons and firearms but i very recently went out shooting clay pigeons with a shotgun for the first time and had a lot of fun. It made me discover a new unnatural talent that I apparently have for pointing a barrel at things and hitting them with bullets every time I pull the trigger, judging by the score and tallies

Skeet shooting is pretty fun. If you don’t hit it with one pellet you’ve got like 50 more if you use birdshot

It’s made me seriously consider eventually getting a hunting license so I can legally own some firearms for recreational use. Although the regulations on storage and such mean that I will more or less have to wait until I find more permanent residence unless I want to lug a 150kg safe with me wherever I move

i went to this place not too long ago, it's like an indoor shooting range that gives you a cinema screen that plays videos of hunting scenarios. Was a lot of fun.
