Yeah it annoyed the living shit out of me seeing people just hold shift and race around in multi-ton tanks like bumper cars. But the aftermath with burning wrecks everywhere to add to the scenery was pretty dopethe fact that i managed to do these memes with the tank still baffles me
i remember circling a tank like a pirhana and then just popping it
eh it was near the end. i was wheezing the whole time and it made the whole thing enjoyable even if it wasn't really the visionYeah it annoyed the living shit out of me seeing people just hold shift and race around in multi-ton tanks like bumper cars. ugumbe the destroyerI forgot to post screenshots.
One of my favorite WW3RP moments was the Soviet tank running out of fuel and being stuck on a hill because the driver didn't pay attention to the simfphys fuel gauge. Proper Fury moment when they had no backup and had to fend off waves of inurgents rushing their tank. Eventually the fuel truck arrives and a lucky insurgent throws a perfect molotov on the entire operation, forcing the entire squad to abandon the tank and retreat.

One of us still died to the Soviets like 3 minutes after getting out.having a 10 minute roleplayed siege broken up by the sudden appearance of 20 soviets was truly a bruh moment

I made it out alive and well after the long siege.having a 10 minute roleplayed siege broken up by the sudden appearance of 20 soviets was truly a bruh moment
if they hadn't shown up that RC car was about to come down the stairwell...I made it out alive and well after the long siege.
Hermann Jost and the skill difference
Hey @Roosebud do you still have the old content for when we did the WW2 Generations? I think we did one on Helix but I'm not sure. It was American GIs vs. German soldiers.
Have you thought about a shortened Generations-styled thing? Instead of 1/2 weeks, have players play for a weekend set in different periods.
Eastern front, Western front for WW2.
Passchendaele and Tannenberg (etc, lots of shit to pick from) for WW1.
Winter War for pre-WW2.
Vietnam for well... Vietnam, shut up.
So many possibilities, so many weekends of fun. What do you think?
I reluctantly agree.. guess a man can keep on dreaming ah?too much fucking work for too little result. Especially since roughly 50-70% of the people that played the stasiland weekend didnt really care about the setting.
Generations II was a mixed bag because we had tons of epic content but people quit after day two because it was temporary so they cba’d about investing and ran out of new memes.
Reverting to shitty nato and boomer territory killed WW3RPWW3RP was best when taking into account the majority and incorportating it into RP
