Figure you might want to see it.
was always how I kinda imagine HL2RP should've played out for some reason.

I want to explore the concept of a lowly, malnourished citizen in the half-life 2 universe making the grave mistake of killing a combine force member, and exploring the resulting combine responses following the death of a single civil protection officer. Slowly building to the most extreme possible conclusion that kills a city and puts humanity’s future at risk
STORY FLOW
- Character transfers to new city
- Is slowly drawn into small rebellious activities
- Is manipulated into murdering a civil protection officer
- City begins to go downhill fast in response
- No rations for citizens
- Apartments are being raided
- Higher security levels
- The character is kicked out of their rebel group to fend for themselves
- The character is found
- Further cops are killed by the player
- Triggers a judgement waiver
- Excessively high security
- Overwatch soldiers patroling the city
- Rations still locked off
- Starving/ dead citizens
- Entire streets and buildings cut off
- The character attempts to reach the city outskirts through the underground
- The character has to fight through overwatch forces holding a series of checkpoints
- Triggers autonomous judgement
- Citizens being gunned down on sight
- Some fight back
- Striders, choppers and gunships hovering across
- Shelling
- Aboslute chaos
- Climactic ending
- Ending one - Escape the city and leave it to perish
- Ending two - Surrender yourself to prevent more citizens from being killed
