FTRP is one of those things that sounds great as an idea, but can't be executed to its fullest potential. Or, well, hasn't been so far.
It was tried twice back in Lemonpunch, and the second attempt got turned into QZRP, but it eventually withered away to the point it was shut down.
FTRP was tried again here in nebulous, but it died even faster than back in Lemonpunch, if my memory serves me correctly.

With a track record like this, I'm not sure any further attempts will be a thing, even if done as fancily as possible.
Hopefully something new will be more successful, like the DXRP idea.

FTRP has semi-worked before.

It's one of those gamemodes that require constant events and admin supervision, otherwise it gets dull fast. When FTRP's events were more than "a small black kid climbs out of some shit yelling "THERES A FUCKGING JOB IN TOWN"" then it was fun. Otherwise, it was trying to invest you in a game of who can get the most loot. Loot that's barely used, because there was no intoer-character conflict and barely any infected.

I never went out to loot, i never fired a gun, i was never in combat, I never left the safezone.

I dont know how I'm suppose to feel

as far as i know the issue with ftrp was that there wasnt enough shit going on and becoming an x-man basically meant "don't go anywhere civilized"

that + the fact that nearly everyone will just kill you for being a mutant makes it very hard to rp at all as a mutant aside from passiveRPing alone until you're like ersatz or something in which case you might as well become a cartel boss

i mean idk about LP FTRP because i played the shit once and then fucked off but imo nebulous FTRP was too good to muties

everyone was some generic fallout 4 railroad 'save the muties' hippie

i only played lp ftrp on a hyena person and a wingman


wingman died about 2 hours after i actually was allowed to play him

hyena lady became irrelevant because ftrp died
