This is how the game works:

*You walk into a store where you could buy anything you want, you get to purchase up to five items, each of them costing you around five dollars. You think to yourself: "What can I buy to freak out the cashier?". Let's find out, you buy a maximum of five items to freak out the cashier, you check out aaaand...*

Basically. You may choose up to five items you would find in stores, convenience stores, hardware stores, thrift shops, bodegas and butchers. Anywhere actually.

Try to buy something that will make the cashier look at you strangely, I'll start.
