players shouldnt be participating in every single faction and activity on the server through a list of characters to rival the population of india, so theres some diversity in who you rp with

Civie and criminal likely fall under the same character Umbrella and won't be something that'll be inherently obvious, this ain't mafia city, you can choose to be either a good, law abiding citizen or a no good scoundrel doing illicit activities. I get where you're coming from though.

If there's technical limitations or issues with something fair, but if the only limitation as it stands is just "idk" it'd be nice to have it increased so I'm not forced to pick, y'know? I wanna be able to spend as much time on the server doing different things so things don't get stale.

At least on nopixel certain jobs like government stuff i.e: lawyer requires you to not be constantly getting arrested or breaking the law.

question about the possible future whitelist/allowlist stuff

will said whitelist be handled only via the forums? Or will it also lead to some sort of interview on some voice platform or some ingame stuff that some servers use, where you spawn at an airport and have to talk your way through some questions from the rules or whatever

you should make decisions, and find something specific that you enjoy so other players have opportunity to find their own niche without slots being hogged

This isn't NoPixel. If you want that experience you know where you can find it, I'm pretty sure the whole step forward was for Nebulous to stand out from the same cookie cutter experience other GTARP communities formulate by and offer. In by, this community is built entirely from the ground up and I think you're panicking over a non issue right now, which, as Blackquill stated is potentially subject to change so I wouldn't worry too much Aether. For now you have three character slots to work with which is generous to say the least it covers most of what you aim for bar 1 less character slot for your aims.

It will be handled via the forum however, we'll be taking note of players that have good characters and roleplay and those likely won't need to apply.
