Detective stuff is interesting, would need to be trusted people because meta could easily have big impacts

Honestly, it is a 50/50

Playing a cop has a lot more rules and regulation but you also get to see a big part of the city and interract with a lot if not everyone on the server at least once.

Criminal has its big freedom and the ability to create incredible stories however it does come with a great risk. Although personally I'm more leaning toward cop.

If I get time to play our server, it'll likely be as a cop although I think it would be pretty unfair to play a criminal with pretty much full meta knowledge.
