I must inform you, Half-Life: Blue Shift already exists.

This makes sense only that they'd be too scared to release anything other than HL:A. I don't believe for a second that Valve were expecting anything different, they knew the results of putting Half-Life in the title of a game.

I mean, they had a right to be. They were releasing the only Half Life game in years as a VR only exclusive and behind a medium sized paywall. The reason they developed the trailer was to sell it to a non-vr audience, which worked. They had rightful reason to be scared after Artifact and how cocky they were with it.

I think that's a bit of a stretch to say they had reason to be scared, Artifact had a bad reception from the start whereas fans have been crying out for a Half-Life game for a decade. They played their best card by using Half-Life, they knew this.

barney would give so much lore and info on how civil protection/the combine works from the inside though so personally hoping for that

you can already play dota in vr, think there's an interactive spectator mode built for vr
