I bought the masterchief collection a few weeks ago and I'm playing through in order of release (canonical order is for nerds)

currently on halo 3, i really love this damn series and i cant wait to get onto reach cause i'm not gonna play ODST and 4

its lore was by comparison bottom line basic but its a good introduction, the checkpoints werent the problem in the difficulty of it i just found it hard

if you mean the glitches then thats not just present in CE

I mean you can feel the lack of features in the guns, and that one mission I think is 343 something where you have to climb the area while the flood chases you is so bad. Its hard but then it just gets tedious I remember having cleared most of them, then a random fucker explodes next to me. Back to square one

moving on to Reach, heard a lot of good things about that game

Man, Halo 1 n' 2 were my childhood, played em solo all the time, replayed the campaign of both multiple times as a kid!

Since I got MCC, got to experience both in remastered, I feel nostalgic
