Grinding for XP is too much.

I'm not even past Tier 25 yet and I'm at about 1.5mil XP.

ive heard 343i has entirely removed Bungie's goodbye message from the end of the game which is pretty scummy ngl
even if Bungie no longer have anything to do with Halo and things are sour between Microsoft and Bungie pulling their final message to the Halo community is a bullshit move

on one hand, 343 is pretty good with the expanded lore of halo and their games still cater towards the multiplayer aspect (and forge) in many respects

on the other hand, what the actual fuck are they doing with armor and designs, from the pseudo loot box stuff to the tier stuff in mcc, just use credits like OG reach, or hell, even use achievements as a means to get armor like halo 3

game's still fun though

Still a great game and I wholeheartedly recommend getting it if you used to play it but stopped or if you never got a chance to play it before.

Just uh, don't expect a whole lot in the individual customization department to say the least if your looking to deck yourself out in armor that isn't default stuff.

This kinda sucks to hear. Yeah getting gear was always a bit of a grind in the original but at least it felt rewarding.

Turns out that Grifball has the highest output for XP if you rack up medals and bomb plants.

Also turns out that after hitting Tier 30 on the Season, the amount of XP you need to rank up is reset to the lowest value; meaning that it's easy to rank back up again once you hit Tier 30 and don't have to be stuck constantly playing games back to back to rank up.
