Have I been asleep this whole time? Dreaming? I saw the end of the universe. At the end it just started over again. Guess I was a dog, too, huh? A pretty good dog. Happier than most, you could say. Oh... and I... killed a refrigerator.
I must be in the upper mantle now. I can almost feel the heat of the sun a little ways above. Well, relatively. The Earth is speeding up the process. Pushing me out. All I've ever wanted is to be up there. But what happens when that time comes? Do I land and find my feet? Or will I keep going up? That's a scary thought.
Slow down, Earth. I'm not ready yet. Please, let me stay here a while longer. I have more dreaming to do.
