Memes aside, what did people think of WN Turn based combat, if you ever got to try it?

It was broken on so many different levels.

It was boring as fuck. You had to sit there for 15 minutes while each person went through their turn.
If you had more than like 5 people, it was unplayable. Ex: CPs shoot into a rioting crowd and all 50 people get put into TBC.
It was broken. You couldn't ambush anyone because you'd be frozen and more cops could just run up.
It was unbalanced so that melee weapons could do like 50 damage and a literal bullet would only do 3 damage (real damage stat btw) so you could magdump an officer in the head 10 times and they'd take 30 damage.
It also had weird stat interplay to where if you ate a pancake or some shit you could go first in TBC and similar things like that.

I had a pretty good S2RP engagement with rebels actually, cops got absolutely decimated but left alive as the rebels withdrew, equally if not slightly less injured

my soul would shatter thinking about the poor server admin having to manage s2rp of that scale.

it is not fun and everyone is dissatisfied because you wrote out their epitaph for them. i feel like when i conducted that sort of thing i gave people less agency than they would've had in plain ol s2k
and also people cant blame anyone else when s2k goes bad that helps
