Sure, but I just don’t know what that has to do w/ what I was saying. Bc that post is what I was talking about.

Like, I get calling out that kind of behavior where people are being gross or unnecessarily obnoxious and they’re insusceptible to reason, but there’s a line where it becomes entirely unneeded such as when those people are long gone or when people could genuinely just be polite about it.

Just very hesitant to continue to normalize that kind of behavior in any way when most of us are adults now.

he did like some minor abuse, fucking with people, spawning some items, that kinda shit
his staff rank was removed while they investigated just so he wouldn't go nuts and mass-ban the server or something
and he took that as an unlawful demotion?

There was some shit said in OOC by alex which people latched onto as him being "humiliated" (I don't think it was that bad personally, I can see the argument but I don't necessarily fully agree). I also don't fully remember it so I could be misremembering

Friends of chez got mad and resigned over the OOC stuff, I think?

He got SA removed but was allowed to keep staff. He just wasn't willing to stick around bc he didn't think he deserved to lose it at all and viewed what he did as minor.

Alex caught it while he was on console and dropped a comment in OOC which people didn't like (understandably). Chez got upset and left.

Mind you even as someone who liked Chez he didn't quite know when to stop before something bit his ass. He did a lot of stupid shit and it took him a while to admit fault in general which fed into why he blew up that time too.

I was on good terms with him and he was a nice guy at heart but he would take tomfoolery way too far constantly and get scolded for it, as well as taking away importance from stuff like spawning items and other deals.

I want to think the guy had no ill intentions whatsoever and honestly all he did was get angry and resign if I recall correctly; some people have done way, WAY worse when facing consequences.

I did tell him, countless times, "man you're going to get in trouble for doing that" and "stop dude, not alright". Man did not know when to stop and avoid crossing lines and I think that was ultimately what led to him to where things ended.
