Ctrl round corner and stand and wait while man passes by (defender advantage)

Also run gun means long range guys can be suppressed more often

Combat is objectively more boring if i cant jump run shoot kill like in the base game

I still dont know why we disabled run & gun on helix launch... do u know how fucking good i was at run and gun bro

People spent years arguing that it was shit because it devolved into spamming bunnyhopping and gave a massive advantage to anyone with a bigger gun and better armour, especially OTA and anyone with a shotgun. Also because people got pissed that you could just bumrush chokepoints and shit through weight of numbers and win (which I get tbh).

The failed depot attack on the last map that was a good lesson for the rebels would have been a total victory for them had run-and-gun been a thing, because then they could have just swarmed you.

They learned very little in the depot tbh, they tried to attack it and there was still a sniper (fucking skyshield) holding the depot from really far up high anyway, combat was wonky, linear

Vortigaunts become less powerhouse central when run & gun enabled which makes them a bit more bearable

Combat more spontaneous means you are more likely to kill a rifleman with a USP instead of being forced to stand still and take the beating from his more accurate rifle in a hypothetical 1v1

The game is already janky as it is, why make it LESS fun so that we strive for realism when we spend half our time suspending our disbelief anyway

Idk just think carefully on if you wanna take things back to the more arcadey style of combat because it can lead to some really shitty mindsets and changes a lot of the currently established roles for guns simply because bumrushing into CQC becomes the go-to mode.

You don't really need to be an S2K twitch-reaction god atm but that changes very quick.

Depends, are vorts also allowed to run and gun, or will they still be restricted to the "hooves glued on ground" mechanic when doing a beam?
