We had this on helix too, First week or two ish in on Zaks version of 47, some randoms or maybe a gang were literally sledgehammering a guys hands into a broken mess in the rebel zone all because he had a black armband and were laughing about it.

The guy who had it done to him was pretty annoyed considering they *tried* to hang him from a lamp-post as well all because he went to like three work shifts.

I think I can say I never intentionally got people killed or got anyone pkd, (outside of my typical loyalist reporting before becoming a rebel) . I was a bmd so I was against my intentions to give someone a grudge

I payed a lot of money to keep other groups away from me for being a platinum tier lotalist

Rebels have effectively killed more rebels than Overwatch, if you don't count blue suit amputations. As such, CAB has the highest CAB killcount. Almost all CPs have been PKed by CPs.

proud of all the cab char deaths ive had, none of them were suicides, ive had:

serpico got deleted from existence by a rebel rain cannon in toride

bezhukov got killed by a mob in borealis

ravoux got breengrubbed

tennenbaum was assassinated on blue street in an event that collapsed the civil authority

Folks like to claim otherwise but it was just the result of it being a different time and CAB's role being different.

CAB wasn't meant to be a realistic political body, they were meant to be the face of the Combine and something you hated. Cops were edgy, rebels were edgy, CAB were edgy, everyone was trying to be as dark as possible to fit what they thought the 'tone' was.

Of course you still had limits to it (at least on the Combine side ironically) but even by the standards of what went on before I was even in the faction the shit I let happen was really tame.

I mean I'm not going to knock it because I took part in it too but I can't stress enough that back in 2015-2016 nobody cared what you did unless it was really extreme or obviously gross (not that this the general edge was better of course, just different).

Good example I can think of was during an event on the Metro map, @FieldersNL' CWU character accidentally stumbled into the rebel base. One of the big rebels gave him a glasgow smile before kicking him out like it was the most normal thing in the world.
