stalkers and already existing automated factory machinery which is a lot more capable at performing the tasks they're specifically made for than expensive humanoid robots

the "civilian" side of the combine machinery is not likely to be able to just get a hold of a stalker

and they are also literal lobotomites who are specifically adapted to work on combine facilities

ota in earlier iterations weren't exactly unavailable most of the time

yunno, why was UIL/WI/whatever else making all these androids anyways

what purpose would a highly restricted in use android prototype with no areas of expertise serve to either the Combine or local citizenry

i forgot its name but the UIL one was a physical android interface for some AI they made; it was able to do many kinds of calculations very quickly (i deferred some combine dimensional coordinate coding to it during the mars colonization arc)

How many times has this happened?
If it's too notorious I could try getting the Houndeye NPC blacklisted from being spawned so it'll stop being an issue over time

honestly i think you just need to wait and let players get used to it

the houndeye NPC and the actual houndeye playermodels have very distinct differences, given one is from an hl1 npc pack and the other is from black mesa. it'll take a bit for the server to adjust to this

only once, folks felt pretty bad after.
it's no zombie whitelist atm
