those white lines are a bug I still get, posted in technical support and no one has had a solution other than just delete all my add ons which currently I cannot do

I was playing HL2 VR and noticed something about these weird Citadel tubes that I never had before, they actually have thin blue veins.

I know there is an unsubstantiated claim that one of the beta citadel renditions was a living lovecraft esque creature, even though that definitely isn't true of the retail Citadel, it might as well be. Everything the Combine uses has to have some kind of bio-mechanical horror attached to it.
