There's something about being in a clockwork shootout that made it so adrenaline pumping tense

I'm so glad those white flashes were removed

they were truly horrific but i do think they added to the tensity
when u got shot ur whole character flew back an inch and u had an epileptic shock irl from the discolights

if you got shot the kick would throw your aim off horrendously

so everyone used third person and the screen knockback was even worse in that mode to the point you'd have your camera dislocate when you got spamfired

i have vivid memories of having a stopsound bind that i hit once every 10 minutes or so to the point it became routine and its still something i do when i play gmod now regardless of the map. only reason being because d47 train started rolling and never stopped until you reset it

anyone remember the cw flashbangs? They used to crash my computer and cops used them on sweeps a ton.

I remember a huge sweep in C24 that culled a ton of rebs. I was in the little sewer/pipe area and got flashed.

I was staring at my screen... heart pounding... expecting to slowly see the respawn message fade in again... but no.. i waited and waited for like 30 seconds... then I realized..

i CRASHED. i frantically restarted my computer and prayed that i wasn't banned for dcing in a sweep.

I rejoined.. the bloodbath had concluded.. but I survived it.. thank you cops who threw 90 flashbangs in CW sweeps.

(I may had used the excuse one or two more times)
