miss it, that one event that ended with me and @cns - he/him/his stranded in what was probably the Aral sea with mankind's future in tatters after having the last woman capable of conception die on our watch, now THAT was some shit, so much blends together in my HL2RP memories but everything by Dallas, CNS, Snowl and Apansenok stood out to me as genuine ludo, I mean these guys consistently were creating interactive and playable versions of some of my favourite sci-fi scenarios all wrapped in a HL2 lore friendly world it's insane.

honestly, we were nerds fr but at the same time pulling off an actually engaging interactive narrative for 120 people is hard asf and lowkey mfs pulled it off every time

The best part of running big events is when things go sideways and you have to do a lot of damage control. I remember a lot of the big events would have gone awry if it wasn't for the overall good improv the event leads had and the support of the staff. I am kinda bias but IMO they are underappreciated a lot but behind the curtains they were making sure things ran smoothly to the public eye. Even if we were all screaming in team speak...
