Serious HL2RP events archive

This was an idea that was discussed before, but did anyone go ahead with it? I want to make a summary of noteworthy LemonPunch and nebulous HL2RP events for the archive, whether they involved map changes or not, with a focus on their culture and results. I've made a quick list of what looked like major HL2RP events named in the announcements section, and trawling others in the events section, populating the archive list with the full list (major events in bold).

Did I miss any major events? Are they correct? What was your favorite event and why? What were their outcomes? Does anyone have information or remember LemonPunch events? Comment in this thread if you have anything to contribute.

I stuffed this memory deep into the crevice of my mind but I think @Blackquill could tell you more about it or @Rabid

2015 sometime. It was going to be a follow on from the C45 "Dark Skies" map change event of 2013(?) where the city reappeared and rebels went to investigate only to find it overrun with hordes of zombies and Antlions. I forget what they were meant to find.

The event fell apart due to the Cops (who were meant to be an easy defence of the outer perimeter on the first map) butchering the rebels almost entirely and the NPC Antlions almost wiping out the rest. The plug got pulled shortly after the map swap to what was going to be the city proper.

To be entirely honest the event wasn't badly done.

But letting the cops use any weapon they had which included Harry with a Spas-12 on a cliff able to wallbang was silly lmao

I'll be honest I wasn't in TS until Map 2 so I probably missed 90% of the drama lmao

Not gonna lie I had a particular disdain for “Heavy Snow” because it was essentially the concept of ww3rp, and it was hosted in a period where a large group of HL2rprs actively mocked and shat on ww3rp for being the inferior server.

To be entirely fair to Heavy Snow it wasnt GOING to be just WW3 but Baker's computer broke last second and everyone took it as an excuse to play it like WW3.

didn't help that half the conscripts went without guns and dynamic firefights happened every ten minutes
