Hockey is for sure one of the more interesting sports to watch but I've never played it on ice.

What can you do on the board? I had one when I was younger but I only ever learned drop-ins because I was a retard back then

Honestly I've never even seen hockey outside of the United States, but that's partly because I haven't really tried looking for it all that much. How big is it where you're at?

I do a bit of reading on and off, last thing I went through was Ignition! An Informal History of Liquid Rocket Propellants which despite the name was actually pretty interested. It's formatted in a way that keeps it pretty light hearted and comedic the whole way through, but also gives you a bit of k n o w l e d g e.

nah, my dad got me into it before he lost his fight with the big bad cancer, always loved music ever since ive known myself and i'm starting to get into drumming a bit, but now im focused on finishing a final fantasy song

talent show contestant + sad story = instant win

luckily i have a natural talent with music shit as well as languages

Pretty small :( there's only 16 ice rinks in the country and 12 clubs. The rinks are pretty bad except for 2 which have been recently built. They're really modern and both put immense effort into both figure skating and hockey to ensure the sport keeps growing.

Other rinks are decent, but the one I play at is the worst. Not modern at all, way too focused on earning money through public skates. Purely focused on survival because the rink doesn't have a lot of time left, building's getting way too old.

We don't get a lot of allocated ice time so we're stuck with 1-2 hours of training a week per age category.

trying to pick up skating (had a board for around a month and a half now), been trying to get out for a bit every day, really refreshing to get out after college and just practice

I quit when it got boring bc in my area there are no spots- the ones which are decent I’ve already skated to death.

Last thing I remember is going to Brooklyn and getting chased by cops because me and the boys wouldn’t leave. I also treflipped down a 5 stair and shinned a homeless lady.

there isn't a skatepark within like 45 minutes of where I live and the paths are fucking trash, I can't really go point to point and there's only two or so spots with decent ground that I'm practicing at, at the moment

Just local bands man I’m no pro, still at college for a couple more weeks, so most the gigs I actually do are through the college, but most of them are in Glasgow which is pretty sound, so they’re a bit ‘Bigger’ to an extent there.

what venues in town and any recent gigs/any upcoming? might be a chance i've been in the crowd while you've been at the soundboard if it's some of the smaller venues

No sure about any upcoming, did one in Blackfriars last week was just a wee one, a few weeks before that I was helping at one in King Tuts which was good man, Twin Heart were playing that’s about the only band I can remember. And a few wee ones in Fury’s in Ayr later last year.

Nowadays, I find myself reading and watching a lot of documentaries while going into writing some sci-fi lore for games. I used to draw a lot of realistic landscapes/portraits before but that's years behind me now.

very nice, I used to have a pool but it collapsed and flooded my yard. part of the foundation of my house is still a little fucked from it and needs some repair work done to stop rodents and stray cats from getting under the house.
