How would you guys like a HL2 SS13 server?

We aren't looking for coders specifically, just people who are willing and capable to help out. Not only just to help out, just to be there.

This stuff looks quite interesting, I'm intruiged by the effort- I'd love to give this a go if it ever came about.

there used to be a meme where the clowns shoes, EVERY TIME YOU WALKED, ticked the entire map, GLOBALLY to check for if your wearing the clowns shoes, and THEN play the sound

Yeah sadly this has caused me to never ever want to sign up for helping develop anything regarding it, even if it's hl2rp and I love hl2rp.

A sprite-based hl2rp game would be fun but.. ss13 is just bad sadly, code-wise.

This sounds like a kick ass idea. The events could be what was mentioned above, plus you could throw in like portal storms, rogue units, judgement waiver etc. The only issue is if people try to make it super lore friendly where we never have a rebellion to end the game because “lore”. SS13 rounds have to be able to end.
