Honestly, when it comes to these types of games, I'll take a deep, immersive world over flawless gameplay.

You won't get a deep or immersive Skyrim if you don't have mods. The world building is good and some side quests are interesting, and the Dragonborn DLC is fucking awesome, but deep? Naaaah.

Skyrim is wide as an ocean and as deep as a puddle: Half the NPCs you meet you can't even interact with and they have a couple of lines of dialogue when you press the use button. Some have more lines and some flesh out the world a lot, although most of this is to serve as exposition dumps to the player where you ask question upon question.

But it still has some roleplaying opportunities, although a lot more can come from mods.

Bethesda scraped the bottom of the barrel when they released Skyrim. "Let's spend so much time developing a cool world and cool people"
"What about the gameplay"
"tap right trigger a lot and then hit the bumper occasionally"

This is why melee builds and destruction magic builds suck. End up as a spam fest.

Other playstyles are much more interesting (although some are overpowered i.e. stealth archer) and provide much better gameplay than melee builds.

There were some aspects I like. TBF though, there is probably some games I like that you despise.
[doublepost=1499007387][/doublepost]I mean I prefer RPG games where there are plenty of side quests.
[doublepost=1499007407][/doublepost]For example FO4's SQ's were well though out.
[doublepost=1499007443][/doublepost]But I agree they are milking too much.
[doublepost=1499007457][/doublepost]Come on guys, respond! kek

That is why I honestly think that Oblivion was the last superior Elder Scrolls game. Then they dropped the ball when they made Skyrim.

Todd Howard: A Glorified Cock Holster
The cynical manhood of Pete Hines firmly wedged into his tight, innocent bum, controlling him from beneath.

Well, the best thing we can do is hope they aren't doing that.
