The amount of drugs I find in the toilets is absurd, I've probably flushed a good 20 grams of coke and a good 20 grams of MDMA. Everytime I flush it I contemplate keeping it cause fuck would it be easy

You can get as many calls as you want on rec. You really don't understand the job of a corrections officer do you? If you take shit from inmates than you're weak. You have to show your dominance. The inmates in my pod love me though, they know I won't take shit, and if they're cool with me. I'm cool with them and 'forget about the time' during rec. Don't judge a book by it's cover mate.

Back when I worked at a beefeater with my sister she was a floor manager and I was a floor worker, she would always put good words in for me even if I did the lazy stuff for the job and pushed me forward more than the other workers which ended up with me getting to switch jobs (Which I'd wanted to for a while) for kitchen stuff.

last time i tried saving one, it tore my hood and i got burned. never fucking again.

i also stepped on a cat once by accident and kicked it under the couch to hide the body when i was a probationary ff

this was all 2-3 years ago. i don’t go interior on dwellings anymore because of the last injury i got. when i say i dont rescue animals, i mean shit like snakes, fish, etc. ive been attacked too many times. that doesn’t mean i do leave them, im just not the one carrying it out. i tell another guy to do it for me.

If I was put in a life or death situation and I accidentally stepped on a cat, It would be a casualty but at least it wasn't a human casualty. I'd still inform the individuals that a cat had passed away but not via me stepping onto it.

i think it's fine to prioritise human lives over animals in the event of a fire

This isn't really a confession like most others but I did 3 days work experience at my local cinema and I just had a really fun time the people I worked with were solid guys who were up for a laugh and shit, managers were solid guys and I just really enjoyed being a ticket collector guy because even though my interactions with other people was minor and shit I really enjoyed it and i'd love to go back :D
