Hey, I think it’s cool you made this thread! For me, I realized I was gay in my late teens, kind of a gradual thing, just feeling different and then finally putting a label on it. I’ve also found that humor, especially the self-deprecating kind, really helps to deal with the awkwardness or confusion sometimes. It’s all about owning who you are and not taking things too seriously when the jokes come from a good place.

I think I came very close to losing someone I've made friends with the other day, fortunately I called the police and they were able to find her before she did anything drastic to hurt herself

If you have any long distance friends going through it please make sure you know their address because I couldn't have done anything if I hadn't been able to find that information in time
