Microsoft released their newest edition of their long standing Flight Simulator franchise just days ago, called Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

The game is absolutely stunning. The world looks photo realistic. To put it in perspective, this is a screenshot I took earlier.

FSX, which was the game before this, looked like this

I'm loving it so far. It's accessible for people who don't know anything about flight sims. If you're interested, talk to me and I can get you started.

I'm playing this persistent multiplayer addon called 'OnAir'. I started my own airline, Baby Airlines, and I bought this super cheap plane, the VL3. It was in the middle of literally bumfuck nowhere. A private "airport" in the back of some guy's house. It's called Barnhart Airport. I had to test fly the plane in order to do jobs. It's about 6 AM local time, and partly cloudy. I flew around no problem, but landing was really hard because the clouds were so low and I couldn't see shit. I was afraid I'd crash into the forest. Luckily, I made it.

I have it on ultra and it's such a pretty game, the only things I dislike are the control bindings are a pain to do (default ones also suck) and the camera can be annoying to work with at times. After spending a bit of time binding stuff though and also setting up TrackIR I'm having so much fun on it. The only annoying part about TrackIR is holding still to try press buttons, there's likely a bind to freeze it or something though that I'm missing.
