i really really dont like all the thermal expansion mods n forestry, and new industrialcraft or tech reborn or whatever just complicated itself more for the sake of being complicated

nothing can beat old ic2 + buildcraft + the non-cheat stuff from ee2

Imo it's either tekkit or terrafirmacraft
Both make the game more fun et cetera and more enjoyable
But terrafirmacraft makes the game harder (Maybe longer? Don't really know.) so it makes it more fun as well
