Suggestion: Ability to use multiple radios, allowing you to speak in multiple frequencies. Possibly naming each radio so you do stuff like /r1 Test /r2 test /r3 test etc.
Why it would be worth adding: Rebel radios are incredibly divided, making communication long distance between groups and otherwise impossible. Actively puts people off, with it being far worse then the constantly changing public frequency situation. Lack of chatter / communication makes the server feel more empty, and can put people off. Maybe combine it with putting some radios around the map, or something, to allow radio-less players to potentially communicate too.
Necessary content:
code idk

What if we placed a bunch of stationary radioes across vital Rebel outposts, and then proceeded to change the frequency of all these radioes on a daily basis?

You can already equip multiple radios with different frequencies, unless I'm misunderstanding what's being described here.

For real now

you know WHAT WOULD BE COOL

different colors, if you have several frequencies that chatter comes from in ur chatbox
if you're on UM radio lets say, its the usual green (cuz its the first frequency enabled or first radio?)
then you have another radio enabled, and its orange colored text
then blue

so you dont have to lose your eyesight trying to cipher thru several types of frequencies that differentiate only by their xxx.x freq number

thatd be cool

You have no idea how many flashbacks this post has given me

They did it back then on WW3RP so the code is already built somewhere in the archives I assume

Not against porting over some of the work I did on the WW3RP radios (albeit the code wasn't the greatest)

Also not against adding quick commands for different frequencies, but not sure how it would work in practice

@Numbers thoughts?

I don't want individual radios to have multiple frequencies without it being some kind of higher tier piece of stationary equipment

Quick commands for different frequencies are cool QoL, no reason not to do it aside from workload pileup

did ww3rp even have multi-frequency radios? I was more talking about the range shit mainly

it didnt, but thats what I got out of the suggestion (range is not a good idea for hl2rp tho i feel)

OP wants the ability to do /r1 and /r2 to speak into diff freqs rather than type /sc 122.2 every time they wanna swap

Can we get dual channel radios that are higher tier
Frequency radio & Military Frequency Radio or Military Radio in name perhaps. (It'd even the playing field slightly between cops and rebels in terms of amount channels, those being Combine, Tac and PT)
