A fallout game should not be defined by how fUN it is, the political nature of it must be taken into account about the dangers of nuclear warfare and the ethics of a post-nuclear world after. Black Isles sought to make a while dead and wasted world, feel alive with characters and factions that inhabit it that don't feel out of place and would make sense within the setting. Nuclear weapons should not be played off as a gameplay feature to be used willy nilly, the moment we enter that mind set proves how far detached we are from the horrors it brings.

Look, Fallout as a series has had a nice emphasis on philosophy, politics, ethics and morals. However Bethesda is a jack of all trades, master of none. In my personal opinion, titles such as those made by Black Isle Studios and Obsidian were more nuanced and 'better' than that of titles like Fallout 4.

But, in the end the point of a video game is to have fun. If you're not having fun when interacting with an entertainment media, then what's the point really? If people enjoy a game, they don't really need a reason for it.

tbh dude, i didnt really come across many bugs apart from the first day

they patched quite a few things and have listened to the community, looking to add FOV and stuff

Honestly, my main gripe with it is the repetitive bugs that feature in each title, like the 'speedhack' bug related to higher FPS. Since that's been present Fallout 3, NV, and 4 I woulda thought that they'd of looked for these kinda things beforehand.
